It all began with our 2001 summer collection. loda ioda introduced six simple and sensible dress designs in a multitude of lush fabrics. Over the years, loda ioda grew to include bridesmaids, ponchos, totes, hairbands and fabric belts.

The concept to design a stylish line that is unique and classic, yet quirky took off. Constructing each piece with the finest quality fabrics, styles reflected the spirit of the individuals wearing them.

Only reproduced in limited quantities, loda ioda was adored by our sassy clientele. Every piece was always hand cut and sewn, with our special touch going into each.

The loda ioda collection has been carried by fabulous retailers across the country, from charming boutiques to Mark Shale department stores. In 2003, lodaioda.com launched its online store and in 2004 the poncho craze brought us to the streets of Chicago where we attended over 10 city festivals.

The word on the street spread and loda ioda had officially become recognized as a top name in Chicago. We've been featured in publications such as lucky, Chicago Magazine, New City Chicago and The Republican Newspapers.
